Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pocket BASE. By creating an account you agree to be bound by them.

1. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for any activity on your account. You must use Pocket BASE only for lawful purposes.

2. Subscription and trial

Pocket BASE offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription. If a subscription is not started, the account enters read-only mode and is retained for 90 days before deletion.

3. Payment terms

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance in Australian dollars. All payments are processed by our payments provider. Failed payments will result in a short grace period; if unresolved, the account moves to read-only mode.

4. Intellectual property

Pocket BASE, its logos, design and software are owned by us. You retain full ownership of the financial information you enter. We only use your data to provide the service.

5. Financial disclaimer

Pocket BASE provides estimates based on the information you enter. It is not accounting, taxation, legal or financial advice. You should consult a registered accountant or financial adviser before making financial decisions.

6. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the service, upload malicious content, or use the service in a way that harms other users or infringes any law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You can cancel or delete your account at any time from Settings.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
